Workshop InformatioN

When parents experience separation, divorce, post divorce and step family challenges, it can often be overwhelming, confusing, scary and enraging. Parents often don’t know where to turn and when therapy isn’t the right fit for the situation, or is only a part of the solution, parents often feel that they have no choice but to turn to the family court system for help. This workshop will help you to have a realistic understanding of what the court can and cannot do for you. Parents often incorrectly believe that the family court can solve more problems than it is actually equipped to help with. Other options for effective strategies will be discussed as well and helping participants to have reasonable expectations about how the court can and cannot help
